【摘要】:ThispartofIEC60793isapplicabletoopticalfibretypesC1,C2,C3,C4,Thesefibresareusedfortheintraconnectionswithinorbetweencomponentsorphotonicsystemsorsubsystems.Whilethefibresaresoldinlengthsonthescaleofkilometres,theyarenormallycutintoshortlengthsforuseintheseintraconnections.Whilethefibrescouldbeovercoatedorbufferedforthepurposeofmakingprotectedpigtails,theymaybeusedwithoutovercoating.Theymay,however,becolour-coded.ThegeneralrequirementsdefinedinIEC60793-2applytothesefibres.Specificrequirementsthatarecommontothesefibresarefoundinthebodyofthistext.ParticularrequirementsforindividualfibretypesorapplicationsaredefinedinAnnexesA,B,CandD,whichrefertonormativefamilyspecifications.ThesefamilyspecificationsaredistinguishedbasedonoptimumtransmissionwavelengthsandnominalModeFieldDiameter(MFD),whichaffectsspliceloss.Foreachfamilyspecification,therearetwosub-categoriesthataredistinguishedonthebasisofthecladdingdiameterandotherrelatedattributes.Theconventionalnominalcladdingdiameterof125μmisaugmentedwiththereducedcladdingtypeproductwithanominaldiameterof80μm.Thesearedistinguishedwiththesuffixes:“_125”or“_80”.ForexampleC1fibrecanbeselectedaseitherC1_125orC1_80.Thetransmissioncharacteristicsofthetwocladdingdiameterchoicesshouldbethesame.ForeachfamilyspecificationexceptC1,therearetwosub-categoriesthataredistinguishedonthebasisoftransmissioncharacteristicsthatrelatetoMFD.Todenotethesesubcategories,a"_a"or"_b"suffixisadded,forlowerorhigherMFD.Ingeneral,thefibrescanbeoptimisedforeithersplicelossormacro-bendlossusingMFDasamainvariable.AC2fibrewith80μmcladdingdiameterandlowerMFDisdesignatedasC2_80_a.FibresfortheC1_125familyspecificationcanbeselectedfomcategoryB1.1orB1.3singlemodefibresandaresuitableforusewithanycategoryBsingle-modefibreatwavelengthsfrom1280nmto1625nm.FibresfortheC2andC3familyspecificationsareoptimizedatnominalwavelengthsof1310nmand1550nmrespectivelyforconnectiontoanycategoryBsingle-modefibre.FibresfortheC4familyspecificationareoptimizedfortransportingopticalamplifierpumplightat980nmorhigher.
