【摘要】:Thispracticeprovidesminimumrecommendationsfortheinstallationandpreparationofwood-based,fiber-reinforcedgypsumandfiber-cementpanelunderlaymentssuitabletoreceiveresilientfloorcoverings.Actualrequirementsformaterialstobeused,mixtures,andotherdetailsaregenerallyincludedaspartofprojectplansorspecificationdetailandmayvaryfromtheminimumrecommendationssetforthinthispractice.1.1Thispracticeincludesrecommendationsforwoodbased,fiberreinforcedgypsumandfiber-cementpanelunderlayment/subfloorassembliesuponwhichresilientflooringmaybeinstalled.1.2Thispracticedoesnotcovertheadequacyofthesubfloorassemblytoperformitsstructuralrequirements,whichisgovernedbylocalbuildingcodes.1.3Thispracticedoesnotsupersedeinanymannertheresilientflooring,underlaymentoradhesivemanufacturer'swritteninstructions.Consulttheindividualresilientflooring,underlaymentoradhesivemanufacturerforspecificrecommendations.1.4SeeSupplementaryRequirementsfor"SelectWarnings"thathavebeenprovided.1.5Thevaluesstatedininch/poundunitsaretoberegardedasstandard;themetricunitsinparenthesesareforreferenceonly.1.6Thisstandarddoesnotpurporttoaddressallofthesafetyconcerns,ifany,associatedwithitsuse.Itistheresponsibilityoftheuserofthisstandardtoestablishappropriatesafetyandhealthpracticesanddeterminetheapplicabilityofregulatorylimitationspriortouse.
