【摘要】:ThisInternationalStandardspecifiesrequirementsandgivesrecommendationsforsealingsystemsforcentrifugalandrotarypumpsusedinthepetroleum,naturalgasandchemicalindustries.Itisapplicablemainlyforhazardous,flammableand/ortoxicserviceswhereagreaterdegreeofreliabilityisrequiredfortheimprovementofequipmentavailabilityandthereductionofbothemissionstotheatmosphereandlife-cyclesealingcosts.Itcoverssealsforpumpshaftdiametersfrom20mm(0,75in)to110mm(4,3in).ThisInternationalStandardisalsoapplicabletosealsparepartsandcanbereferredtofortheupgradingofexistingequipment.AclassificationsystemforthesealconfigurationscoveredbythisInternationalStandardintocategories,types,arrangementsandorientationsisprovided.
