【摘要】:Thesetestmethodscoverthetestingofrigidtubesusedinelectricalinsulation.Thesetubesincludemanytypesmadefromfibroussheetsofbasicmaterials,suchascellulose,glass,ornylon,intheformofpaper,wovenfabrics,ormats,bondedtogetherbynaturalorsyntheticresinsorbyadhesives.Suchtubesincludevulcanizedfiberandthermosettinglaminates,aswellastubesmadefromcast,molded,orextrudednaturalorsyntheticresins,withorwithoutfillersorreinforcingmaterials.Tubestestedbythesetestmethodsaremostcommonlycircularincrosssection;however,noncircularshapesarealsoincommercialuse.Totheextentthattheindividualmethodsarecompatiblewithaparticularnoncircularshape,thesetestmethodsareapplicabletotheseothershapes.Fortestsonnoncirculartubes,appropriatecommentsshouldbeincludedinthetestreport,includingdetailsoforientationoftestspecimenswithrespecttothecrosssectionofthetube.Theproceduresappearinthefollowingsections:Thevaluesstatedininch-poundunitsaretoberegardedasthestandard.SIunitsinparenthesesareforinformationonly.Thisstandarddoesnotpurporttoaddressallofthesafetyconcerns,ifany,associatedwithitsuse.Itistheresponsibilityoftheuserofthisstandardtoestablishappropriatesafetyandhealthpracticesanddeterminetheapplicabilityofregulatorylimitationspriortouse.Foraspecifichazardstatement,see27.1.1.
