【摘要】:ThisStandardappliesonlytothesteadyflowofsingle-phasegasesanddealswithdevicesforwhichdirectcalibrationexperimentshavebeenmade,sufficientinnumberandquantitytoenableinherentsystemsofapplicationstobebasedontheirresultsandcoefficientstobegivenwithcertainpredictablelimitsofuncertainty.Thecriticalflowventurinozzlesdealtwithcanonlybeusedwithinlimitsthatarespecified,forexamplenozzlethroattoinletdiameterratioandReynoldsnumber.ThisStandardspecifiesthegeometryandmethodofuse(installationandoperatingconditions)ofcriticalflowventurinozzlesinsertedinasystemtodeterminethemassflowrateofthegasflowingthroughthesystem.Italsogivesnecessaryinformationforcalculatingtheflowrateanditsassociateduncertainty.ThisStandardappliesonlytoventurinozzlesinwhichtheflowiscritical.Criticalflowexistswhenthemassflowratethroughtheventurinozzleisthemaximumpossiblefortheexistingupstreamconditions.Atcriticalfloworchokedconditions,theaveragegasvelocityatthenozzlethroatcloselyapproximatesthelocalsonicvelocity.InformationisgiveninthisStandardforcasesinwhich:(a)thepipelineupstreamoftheventurinozzleisofcircularcrosssection;or(b)itcanbeassumedthatthereisalargespaceupstreamoftheventurinozzle.TheventurinozzlesspecifiedinthisStandardarecalledprimarydevices.Otherinstrumentsforthemeasurementareknownassecondarydevices.ThisStandardcoversprimarydevices;secondarydeviceswillbementionedonlyoccasionally.
